It might be that Chelsea Handler is discovering why pleasure doesn’t mix too well with business.

Gawker.com has reported that Handler has split up with Ted Harbert, her boyfriend of almost four years. Harbert is CEO and president of Comcast Entertainment, owner of E! network which airs “Chelsea Lately,” Handler’s show.

An E! Representative told Usmagazine.com that the couple isn’t residing together any longer, and that Ted had the highest regard, both professionally and personally, for Chelsea.

The representative for the network was unable to confirm the breakup. However Gawker is reporting that it was Handler who initiated the break up.

The pair started dating in 2006. They had denied previously the breakup rumors that circulated during summer 2009.

Reportedly Harbert, 55, and Handler, 34, started their relationship after “The Chelsea Handler Show, the E! Series, had ended and before the start of “Chelsea Lately,” her very successful talk show.
